Clean, tidy and well appointed, with easy parking, a secluded village setting and convenient access to Pickering, the moors, the pool and hot tub.
The cottage felt fully equipped and thoughtfully prepared. The counter-current pool was a favourite, while the host’s care made the stay feel genuinely personal.
Repeat visitors highlight the comfort of Tawny Owl and Goldfinch, the excellent leisure facilities, friendly hosts, nearby pub and almost limitless days out.
Guests value Magpie’s character, comfortable bed, dog-friendly walks and the convenience of the pool, hot tub and sauna while exploring North Yorkshire.

Please keep evening noise low in consideration of the surrounding village.
Children must be supervised by an adult throughout the leisure suite.
Infants are included in the maximum number of guests for insurance purposes.
The cottages are not suitable for groups where all guests are under 30.
Smoking and vaping are permitted outside the properties only.
